A longer, scenic hike to the memorial and the grave of the painter and poet Wilhelm Busch.

On this hike, we cross the narrow, elongated ridge Heber, which separates the Heberbörde from the Ambergau. In Mechtshausen, we can visit the Wilhelm Busch Memorial and the poet's grave. On a romantic forest edge path with wonderful views of the Ambergau and the Harz Mountains, we later reach the historic Adenhausen cemetery. From there, we continue to the Wohlenstein ruins and soon afterwards, we can already see our starting point in the Heberbörde in the distance.
