First, head towards the Stave Church. In front of the large parking lot at the Stave Church, past the holiday home Parkresidenz at the Stave Church, turn left onto the footpath onto the hiking trail "2G blue dot." You cross the ski slope and walk along Hahnenkleer Weg or the "bird teaching trail" until the first junction. At the junction, take the slightly downhill forest road Wilddiebsweg and follow it, always keeping to the right, past the ski lift until you meet the "bird teaching trail" again. When you reach Windsattel, keep right..* The Hahnenkleer Weg now leads you gently downhill. In a sharp left turn, follow the narrow, slightly concealed path "2G blue dot" straight ahead. Shortly after, you reach the forest path again, which you follow to the right until the paved road. Here turn left and after 100 meters, after an old boundary stone, turn left again. The path "2G blue dot" now leads you past the former slate mine Glockenberg. At the next two intersections (the first at the hiking trail "8D blue cross", the second on the sun plateau, where you turn right to the Steinberg Alm), stay straight on the path. After a short climb, descend left to Taubenstieg (2G blue dot), where you turn right. The great views of the Granestausee shorten the hiking time to the popular "Unter den Linden" parking lot. After crossing the parking lot, the paved road takes you past the old forester's house Königsberg. Shortly after, you turn onto the right-branching hiking trail "2G blue dot." With a very beautiful view over the Goslar mountain meadows, you reach the Frankenberger Teich and continue via the Claustor- and Vititorwall to the center of Goslar.
