Passing through a recreational area and past the Heinz Sielmann Nature Experience Center Gut Herbigshagen, you reach the Rhume Spring after a ride through gently hilly terrain.
On your cycling route to Nixe Rhuma, you first pass through the recreational area "Im Leeren." Here, small stations provide information about our animal and plant world. After a short climb, you reach the Heinz Sielmann Nature Experience Center Gut Herbigshagen, which offers a lot besides the fallow deer enclosure, organic farm, café, and KI.KA treehouse. The further route runs near the "Green Belt," a nature conservation project on the former border strip, and leads you to one of Europe's largest karst springs, the Rhume Spring. On the way back, you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view again from the Sulbergswarte. Only a small detour is necessary for this.
