We cycle over the Ilsenburger Stieg along the Ecker and Großer Hasselbach to the first Harz heights. There we can stop at the Molkenhaus before heading back to Bad Harzburg.
This bike route takes us over the Ilsenburger Stieg, which is also a popular running trail, through the Upper Schimmerwald into the beautiful Eckertal. Along the Ecker and the Großer Hasselbach we reach the Molkenhaus, where we can stop for a break. Through the enchanting fairy-tale forest, it goes back to Bad Harzburg.
Rabenklippe
From the bus turning area, we first ride into the forest. Slightly left it goes into the valley and along the Ilsenburger Stieg at the edge of the Harz through the Upper Schimmerwald. We keep cycling straight ahead until we cross the Ecker and reach a paved road. At this junction, we follow the path to the right towards Pappenfabrik. It goes uphill along the Ecker until the Großer Hasselbach flows into the Ecker from the right. We then continue uphill along the small brook to the Molkenhaus, where we can stop. Afterwards, we just cycle straight ahead and reach a paved path 200 m further that leads us to Bad Harzburg. From here a bus takes us back to the starting point.
