Hike through the Rösetal

From the starting point, walk about 250 m along the footpath next to the castle hill until you meet the paved road and follow it to the See/Neehausen/Rösetal intersection. Turn right there and walk the Luther Trail for about 2.2 km until you reach a fork where you keep left towards Rollsdorf and follow the Mühlweg. This then becomes Mühlwegstraße, which you follow for about 1 km until you reach Hallbergstraße. From there it is only 100 m to the Rollsdorf stop and the Rollsdorfer Mühle winery. To reach the Bindersee, you must cross the street Am Bindersee for another 50 m, and you will have arrived at the destination.

Sturdy footwear is recommended but not absolutely necessary. Dress according to the weather conditions.

A visit to one of the many wineries on the edge of the hiking trail through the Rösetal is highly recommended. Just as much as the Old Church in Rollsdorf, the Schwalbe winery, and the Bindersee.

- take exit 20 Querfurt/Schraplau/Obhausen/Röblingen am See on the A38 motorway

- turn left onto L176 towards Schraplau/Röblingen am See

- continue on Schafseer Straße

- take the second exit at the roundabout (Schraplauer Straße)

- continue on Große Seestraße/Seestraße

- continue on L176

- turn right onto Eislebener Straße/B80

- turn left onto L80

- straight ahead onto Straße der Freundschaft

There are 2 medium-sized parking lots directly in Seeburg and many other smaller parking and parking spaces.

The first is directly opposite the Seeterrassen on Straße der Freundschaft and another one is directly at Seeburg Castle.

In Rollsdorf there is a larger parking area at the Bindersee and a small parking lot at the Schwalbe winery/Rollsdorf stop.

Seeburg is accessible by line 440 from Halle/Saale and Lutherstadt Eisleben. Rollsdorf is also served by line 440.
