The information centre on the World Heritage Site Bergwerk Rammelsberg, Old Town of Goslar and Oberharzer Wasserwirtschaft ...
With an exhibition area of around 180 square metres, it presents the more than 200 square kilometres large UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Harz Mountains together with its 3,000 years of cultural history. The general significance of World Heritage Sites for the world community is also a central theme in the UNESCO Welterbe-Infozentrum.
The free Welterbe-Infozentrum also provides a site overview of its surface and underground heritage sites, the diversity of which can be seen in the extensive interactive 3D landscape model. In addition to this feature, large-format images, audio stations and interactive digital applications invite visitors to get to know the World Heritage Site. Tourist offers and current events can be compiled directly on site for an individual route through the World Heritage Site and taken digitally on a smartphone or in paper form.
The Welterbe-Infozentrum can be found directly at the ZisterzienserMuseum Kloster Walkenried.
