A good 100 years of winter sports on skis and runners on the Ravensberg - from skeleton to steering sledges to bobsleighs and from the simple Davos sledge to the production of the Ski-Schäfer company - form one focus.

Bad Sachsa!
The other focus provides exciting insights into the development from a small town to a pretty spa town with the best air and villas of the rich and beautiful in the style of Harz spa architecture.

Special emphasis is placed on the presentation and teaching of old trades (pharmacist, cooper, plumber, button maker, upholsterer, plasterer, shoemaker).
