The hobby beekeeper looks after his bee colonies with great care. The result is high-quality honey.
His bee colonies produce natural honey and collect nectar and pollen in the Harz foreland and in the Fallstein forest area. They thus make an important contribution to the pollination of crops and rare wild plants.
The trained forester and carpenter makes his "bee dwellings" himself. He cuts the wood in local forests, processes it and uses it to build his wooden hives. The bees produce the wax for the honeycombs. It is extracted by him and processed in his own wax cycle to make middle walls for his bee colonies.
This extensive care is reflected in the quality of the honey.
