There are a number of playgrounds on the grounds of Bürgerpark Wernigerode.
Horse playground
Girls' dreams come true. Right next to our paddock, where our two ponies graze with their young foals, is our horse playground. Here, all horse fans can ride wooden horses and play in the small half-timbered stables.
Ssand playground
Our large sand playground is located near the park restaurant. This invites you to play extensively with sand. The little ones can dig here. Older children can experience playful building activities by transporting sand containers up and down long chains. But of course there is also a slide.
Wooden playground "Klein Wernigerode"
On our wooden playground "Klein Wernigerode", children can climb on wobbly bridges and towers to their heart's content. Little princesses have their favorite place here. The savings bank has a real safe and the mayor can hold an office hour in the town hall.
Playground "AXIOM"
Our "Axiom" playground invites all little adventurers to move freely and learn new things through play. Cheerful colors and shapes that inspire the imagination encourage discovery and experimentation. Children can become tiny little ants or find themselves on a gigantic spaceship that flies back and forth between the planets. They can invent their own roles and environments.
Water playground
Summer is hot - are you looking for refreshment and cooling off? Then our water playground is just the thing. It consists of a small water landscape with rippling channels, pumps, paddle wheels, fountains and other water play equipment. The playground is largely barrier-free so that children with disabilities can also have fun. An awning provides sufficient shade. The tactile map helps visitors to get an overview of the grounds of the Bürger- und Miniaturenpark and find their way to the next playground.
"Giants and Dwarves" mud playground
Water and sand for boundless imagination - our "Giants and Dwarves" mud playground on the fenced meadow promises all of this. Here, our young visitors can pump, dam up and channel water, as well as play with sand, shape it and bake cakes.
