Adventure at a height of 65 metres!
Surrounded by nature and in the middle of the Harz landscape, the 65-metre-high Harz Tower rises up in Torfhaus. The wooden tower screw imitates a hollow, twisted tree trunk.
Whoever climbs the Harz Tower or uses the lift arrives at two 360° panoramic viewing platforms, which offer a unique view of the Brocken and the entire surrounding Harz Mountains and National Park. The Harz Tower is barrier-free up to the first platform.
A glass skywalk leads out of the building, providing a special thrill at a dizzying height of 45 metres. You can descend in the lift or by stairs. Adventure-seekers, on the other hand, can use the "Rasantia" adventure slide, which is made of stainless steel and loops around the tower screw. Users can expect a 110 metre long slide with rapid curves and magical sound and light effects.
The tower access is reached through the light-flooded entrance building, which is mainly made of wood. The building houses service rooms and a souvenir shop, among other things.
