The Harz town of Tanne impresses with its beautiful, colorful mountain meadows and idyllic stream valleys. On the circular route around Tanne you will get different insights into the place, the surrounding area and the Rote Harzer Höhenvieh - which gives the circular route its name.

A worthwhile circular hiking trail with great views, blooming and fragrant mountain meadows and ideal for getting to know the Harz village of Tanne.

With its approx. 7 km or approx. 9 km, with a detour to Kapitelsberg mountain, it is a half-day tour that can be easily managed without great effort. Since the circular hiking trail can also be shortened at any time through the village of Tanne, it is particularly recommended for families with children (without prams).
