The hike around the Trogfurther Bridge is an easy tour with great views for the whole family. You walk right by the water around the transfer barrier.

Whether on foot, with a stroller, balance bike or bicycle, this route can be easily covered. Also ideal for your four-legged friends. Everywhere along the way you will find enough seating for picnicking or relaxing. The Harzer Wandernadel stamp is located directly at the dam wall. From here you have an enchanting view over the water to the Wurmberg mountain and the Brocken mountain.

The right (outward) route is a wide and easy forest path, and the left (return) is paved. Did you know that the confluence of the Warm and Cold Bode is in front of the dam inlet?

At the beginning of the hike, we recommend a short detour to the ruins of the Königsburg - another stamp of the Harzer Wandernadel.

From here there is a fantastic panoramic view of Königshütte, the Harz National Park with the Brocken mountain.
