The initial stage: From Osterode via old supply routes into the Upper Harz.
The charming half-timbered town of Osterode is the starting point of the hike. From here, from the Harz Grain Magazine (today the town hall), the food supply for the ore miners was once secured. Along the historic Hundscher Weg, after a two-hour ascent, we reach the Marienblick, a wonderful viewpoint into the Lerbachtal.
Continue along beautiful forest paths past the Bärenbrucher Pond to Buntenbock, the quiet and idyllic district of Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
