On the fairy tale path from Schierke to the Brockenhaus, children embark on an exciting journey through the Harz National Park together with the boy Albert. On the approximately 5-kilometer-long hike, the fairy tale of the White Deer is told at six stations.

The route runs along the Eckerlochstieg, the shortest ascent to the Brocken plateau and one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Harz, mostly on paths rich in stones and roots. The last station of the trail is located in the National Park Visitor Center Brockenhaus with its interactive exhibition on the Brocken summit. Here, Albert tells the final part of the fairy tale and reveals the secret of the White Deer. For their hiking achievement, the little hikers can reward themselves with a special stamp in the fairy tale flyer. In the exciting exhibition of the Brockenhaus, visitors can also learn many interesting things about the National Park and the Brocken. In the Hexenflug cafeteria, you can recharge for the descent. Approximately 2 - 3 hours should be planned.

Please note that the interactive stations on the fairy tale path are dismantled during the winter months.
