St. George's Church was first mentioned in a document in 1196 and is located outside the city due to the later construction of the city fortifications.
The church is characterized by three architectural styles. The squat, broad Romanesque tower from the 12th century, the Gothic nave from the 14th century and the Renaissance choir from the 16th century.
Special features include the Gothic figure of St. George and the Baroque high altar from the collegiate church.
