Schierker flint. The original. From the Harz Mountains to the world.
He spent day after day and night after night tirelessly searching for the perfect recipe. Finally, he succeeded - the herbal half-bitter, later marketed as "Schierker Feuerstein", was born. Schierker Feuerstein was soon being sold in large quantities far beyond the Harz Mountains.
The special thing about Schierker Feuerstein is its recipe. It makes the herbal half-bitter a real traditional drink. It is still produced today according to the unchanged original recipe by Willy Drube. Selected local and overseas herbs are macerated in pure brandy. The original recipe is top secret and is only passed on within the family - now in its 4th generation.
Although the recipe for Schierker has not been changed, a lot has happened at Schierker Feuerstein since its birth. Six different bottle sizes from 0.02 l to 1.0 l can be filled on the modern bottling lines in the Bad Lauterberg production facility. Numerous quality controls throughout the entire production process are the basis for the consistently high quality and the inimitable taste experience of Schierker Feuerstein.
Classically, Schierker Feuerstein is enjoyed pure and ice-cold. But it also cuts an excellent figure as a long drink. Willy Drube's Herbal Half-Bitter is known and loved far beyond the Harz region for its unique recipe.
