Before you really get going, you'll receive instructions on how to handle your four-legged friend. You will soon feel the support of your sled dog on our trekking tour and know why the sport is also called "draught dog sport".
In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn lots of interesting facts about this fascinating breed and the sport.
The trekking tours are offered from November to the end of March under professional guidance through the Huywald forest, as long as the temperatures are below 15°C. A tour lasts around 2.5 hours and covers approx. 10 km. Variations are possible depending on weather and fitness. You should be in good health and at least 16 years old.
Sturdy footwear is important. We do not do group events, everyone gets their "personal tour".
