Enchanting adventures in the HEX adventure world on the world's largest witch's broom!
Since October 2025, the HEX Adventure World in Rotehsütte has been thrilling visitors as a unique amusement park offering the perfect mix of action, adventure, and magic. The spectacular centerpiece is the world's largest witch's broom – an imposing 70-meter-high observation tower. A barrier-free elevator takes visitors to the glass-enclosed viewing platform at a height of 44 meters. From here, a breathtaking panoramic view opens up over the Harz forests to the legendary Brocken. The descent is an experience in itself: two rapid adventure slides, including Europe's first interactive slide, bring the daring back to the ground with a swing over a length of 100 meters.
In the tower's basement, an enchanting interactive exhibition transports visitors into the mystical world of Harz witch legends. Try out your own magical powers, brew magic potions, or ride a virtual witch's broom – anything is possible. The story of Aelfi and the three witches from Rothesütte combines state-of-the-art digital technology with traditional legends.
Surrounding the witch's broom is an enchanted adventure forest play world with numerous climbing and hiding opportunities that children in particular will love. Its location on the regional hiking trail network makes the adventure world an ideal starting point for hikes in the Harz Mountains.
The Blocksberg restaurant and the HEXPRESS snack bar serve typical Harz products. In the HEX shop and the magic shop, you will find regional specialties and unusual souvenirs of your visit.
