Beer was brewed in the cozy Brauhaus Lüdde as early as 1807. At times, the brewery supplied beer from Magdeburg to the southern Harz region.
The concept of quality and traditional craftsmanship is fully in line with the idea of the "Typically Harz" brand, even if not all raw materials can be sourced from the Harz region due to the climate. The natural beer is an organic product without preservatives or additional filtration. It consists exclusively of water, barley malt and hops. The traditional processing of the raw materials takes place exclusively in the Harz region.
Beer has been brewed in the buildings on Blasiistrasse since 1807. In 1876, Carl-Friedrich Lüdde from Schöningen took over this brewery, laying the foundations for successful development over three generations. In the 1930s, Brewery Lüdde supplied customers within a radius of 60 km between Magdeburg and Südharz. After interim closures, the current pub brewery opened in 1992.
The following beers have been awarded the "Typisch Harz" regional brand:
- Pubarschknall (top-fermented brown beer)
- Lüdde-Pilsener
- Lüdde-Schwarzbier
- Bock, Weizen and Märzen (seasonal beers)
