Schloss Blankenburg was once the starting point and centre of the varied courtly life during the reign of Prince Ludwig Rudolph von Braunschweig-Lüneburg (1671-1735).
The theatre hall, the octagonal chapel, still in its present condition impressive wall decorations, priceless fireplaces and stoves are only a fraction of what was built during the time of the important master builder of the largest preserved Guelph castle, Hermann Korb (1656-1735). Take a guided tour and learn about the old splendour and the discoveries made during the ongoing restoration work.
