The Wöltingerode Monastery and the associated Gasthaus Klosterkrug can be found just outside the gates of the World Heritage town of Goslar. It serves seasonal and regional specialties.
On the northern edge of the Harz Mountains near the World Heritage town of Goslar lies the Wöltingerode monastery, which was used by Cistercian nuns as early as 1174. Today, the baroque monastery walls are home to the comfortable 3-star superior monastery hotel. In the associated Klosterkrug Wöltingerode, great importance is attached to treating nature and its products with respect. As far as possible, only food of regional origin and from near-natural production is used. Gourmets can
look forward to delicious game dishes, for example, one of which has even been awarded the Typisch Harz label.
