Since the 10th anniversary in 2014, a total of 12 artistic installations along the path enhance the experience on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg.

The content of each so-called “island“ is based on specific features and themes along the way, which were then artistically processed. Many of these themes are not visible at first glance, but are brought out of obscurity by the installations.

Cleverly set frames run like a thread through all these locations and are intended to encourage the hiker to create his or her own personal photo album about the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg.
