Sonnenberg (St. Andreasberg)

Short facts

  • Sankt Andreasberg

The Sonnenberg ski area is one of the most snow-sure ski areas in the Harz Mountains.

At 800 m above sea level, the ski area is one of the highest in the Harz Mountains. With three lifts and slopes of varying degrees of difficulty, it offers slopes for everyone. Two T-bar lifts and a pony lift open up easy family runs, but there are also medium to steep slopes. Flat and steeper slopes alternate, offering a pleasing variety. The ski area is therefore ideal for both inexperienced and experienced skiers. The fun park next to the Großer Sonnenberg offers various kickers, boxes and rails. It can be reached via the pony lift and the Großer Sonnenberg.

The toboggan slope is right next to the red slope of the Sonnenhang and is correspondingly steep. But there are also flatter areas. It can be reached on foot from all parking lots and lifts in just a few minutes.

Sonnenberg is very well connected to the cross-country ski trail network.

At Großer Sonnenberg and Sonnenhang, you can enjoy snacks and hot and cold drinks at small refreshment stands.

Parking spaces are available free of charge.
