The town of Harzgerode has created a new interactive experience in the Selke Valley destination - the HARZKUGELEUM.
It complements the already certified "Wanderbares Deutschland/Kulturerlebnis" quality hiking trail HARZGERÖDER KUGELsPASS in a special way.
The uniqueness of the castle experience in Harzgerode results from the rich collection of valuable treasures that have been created through technical innovations, individual creativity and the inventive spirit of generations and are presented in the permanent exhibition - all from a single source!
With one of a total of 32 stamping points of the Harz Hiking Needle for Harz historical sites "Castles and Palaces" in the castle courtyard, the desire to travel back in time and discover this authentic monument is awakened.
The HARZKUGELEUM - Interactive knowledge transfer is always a well-rounded experience - the beech wood ball, an original Harz product, runs through various themed worlds together with the visitors and, with its shape and weight, activates a lot of information about the Lower Harz, mining, nature and local and
regional history through the ages.
