The holiday flat at the Reiterhof Wernigerode is idyllically situated with a view of the paddocks and can accommodate two to four people.
It has a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom and a bedroom (two if required). A terrace offers relaxation with a view of the horses. Bed linen is included, you must bring your own towels.
The Brocken ride from Reiterhof Wernigerode runs daily from Schierke through the Harz National Park to about 300 metres below the Brocken plateau. The trip takes about 2.5 hours, with a 1.5 hour stop at the summit. A direct ascent is possible for disabled guests.
The Wernigerode riding centre offers guided trail rides for beginners and advanced riders as well as children aged 9 and over. The rides last between one hour and a whole day and lead through forests, the Christianental game park enclosure and past Wernigerode Castle. The horses are Haflinger and can be ridden in either English or Western style.
