Torfhaus Youth Hostel is located in the wildly romantic, densely wooded "Harz National Park", directly on the Harz Witches' Trail.
Our house is suitable for individual guests and families, groups, as a school hostel, as well as for conferences and seminars in a natural atmosphere.
Facilities
Our up to 174 guests will find a cosy place to stay in 2- to 6-bed rooms, some with shower/WC, some with washing facilities.
The 6 lounges and conference rooms offer space for up to 80 people, for example for lessons, conferences, training courses or for leisure activities sheltered from the rain.
Catering
Breakfast is always included in the accommodation price. Half-board and full-board options are also available. If you are travelling during the day, you can opt for a packed lunch instead.
Membership
Membership of the German Youth Hostel Association is a prerequisite for staying in youth hostels. Membership can be taken out online and at any local youth hostel.
