The HarzCard is an all-inclusive sightseeing card. According to your plans you can choose between two editions – the 48-hour card or the 4-day card. First decide which HarzCard type suits your holiday needs best.
After your purchase the HarzCard offers free entry to almost 100 sights and attractions in the Harz Mountains for the duration selected. It is up to you to decide how many to visit. There is no upper limit - only a time limit.
The card is available in two types:
- The 48-hour HarzCard is valid for 48 consecutive hours within the calendar year (1st January until 31st December). The fare to the Brocken is not included in the 48-hour HarzCard.
- The 4-day HarzCard is valid for 4 individual days of your choice within a calendar year (1st January until 31st December). It can but does not have to be used on 4 consecutive days. The one-way fare to the Brocken is included in the 4-day HarzCard.
Please notice that public transport is not included.

The 48-hour HarzCard is valid for 48 consecutive hours within the calendar year. The fare to the Brocken is not included in the 48-hour HarzCard.
The 4-day HarzCard is valid for 4 individual days of your choice within a calendar year (until 31st December). A day corresponds to a calendar day - not 24 hours. To activate the remaining days, simply use the card again on the next desired day. You can pause in between.

Order online or buy locally?
The HarzCard can be ordered online or purchased at one of the many sales outlets in the Harz Mountains.
There are two options for ordering online. On the one hand, the slightly reduced-price transmission is completely digital. The card is immediately available as a PDF and as a wallet.
Alternatively, you can order the card as a haptic version for delivery to your home. There are additional shipping costs.
In addition to the order option on our website you can buy the HarzCard in numerous local offices and selling points.
