Treseburg

Treseburg is a district of the town of Thale and is surrounded by untouched nature in a dreamy seclusion in the middle of the legendary Bode Valley.

Situated directly at the entrance to the unspoilt and rugged part of the Bode Valley and the popular long-distance hiking trail 'Harzer-Hexen-Stieg', Treseburg offers numerous opportunities to discover the unique nature of the Harz Mountains with a well-signposted network of hiking trails and various viewpoints. Visitors stressed out by the hectic pace of everyday life will find a place of rest and relaxation here in picturesque surroundings.

The Treseburg Clock Museum is also worth a visit. More than 700 exhibits accompany visitors on a journey through the history of timekeeping and clock development, from shadow staffs to radio-controlled clocks.
