The state-approved climatic health and winter sport resort Friedrichsbrunn is a district of Thale and is situated 533 meters above sea level on the south-eastern edge of the Bode Valley.
With more than 190km of hiking trails in and around the town, Friedrichsbrunn is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. Encompassed by mountains, discover the valleys and meadows on circular routes or on a walk in the direction of the Bodetal Valley coming across interesting sights such as the Devil's Mill, the Eagle Oak Tree or the Bergtar -Müller Pond.
